Franklin County Rural Recycling Program
Franklin Counties' rural recycling bins are for the convenience of rural residence. The bins are located at the northeast corner of the fairgrounds, near Highway 3. Starting from the north; the first container is comingled for glass, plastic, and tin. The second large bin is for all paper products. The last bins are three 8 cubic yard open topped dumpsters for cardboard products. We still ask that all boxes be broken down and only cardboard is placed in these dumpsters. These bins will not be labeled directly on the units, but by portable signs in front of each bin. As a disclaimer please look before dumping to keep from mixing paper with the glass, plastic, and tin products. Franklin County thanks the users of the county recycling bins for your cooperation and if there are any questions please contact us at 641-456-4375.
