Construction on the trail came to a hault for the winter season in November of 2011.  Crews will start again this spring when weather permits. 

Citizens are encouraged to use the trail at this time however please be aware that the trail is not complete and there could be areas that are not sutible for walking. Use the trail at your own risk.

We have started to field complaints of people driving motorized vehicles on the trail.  The only vehicles that are allowed on the trail are snowmobiles and authorized local government vehicles. Violaters will be subject to a fine if you are driving on the trail.
